Note Well: This page is pretty out of date. The dates are from old years, and no mention is made of the more recent university level competition, DI eXtreme. At least once, we've run an affiliate-level DI eXtreme competition with whatever college-age folks we had at the tournament, between team performances and the day's closing ceremony.
I'm sure someone on the SCOOPS Board will patch up the details on this page. -- MattElder
Go to the DI website, see the Rules of the Road, page 8, and organize a University Level (UL) Team!
SCOOPS University Level Team Guidelines
SCOOPS invites UL teams to present their solutions to their Challenge at any SCOOPS sponsored event. The team may present their solution at any Regional Showcase and/or the State Tournament. They will also be scheduled for an Instant Challenge at the same event, if they wish.
- UL teams must notify their Regional Director by March 1, 2003, if they wish to present their solution at their Regional Showcase.
- teams must notify the Affiliate Director by April 1, 2003, if they wish to present their solution at the State Tournament.
UL teams representing South Carolina at 2003 Global Finals will be listed in the State Tournament program book, whether or not they perform at any SCOOPS sponsored event, if they complete the team registration on Dionline by April 1, 2003.
SCOOPS invites ALL UL team members to be volunteers or certified Appraisers at SCOOPS sponsored events. A State-wide Appraisal Team Training will be held Saturday, February 22, 2003 and participation is required to become a certified Appraiser. Join the fun of being a UL team!
For more information about the UL team experience, volunteering or becoming an Appraiser, please contact the SCOOPS University Level Team Coordinator.
