The Destination ImagiNation Rules of Interference are an important consequence of the Spirit of DI. These rules are confusing to many team members, managers, parents and supporters, but it is vital that everyone involved understand these rules. In brief, the Rules of Interference state that team members must dream, design and create their solution themselves, without help from anyone outside the team. So, no one not on the team can help, in any way that leads to results. (Actually, that's slightly conservative. For example, parents and team managers can drive team members to the hardware store or the craft shop to pick up supplies; but they can't offer advice on what to buy or where to buy it.)
